Children’s success as learners depends on strong foundations developed from infancy. Therefore, we strive to encourage the development of each child’s skills and abilities. So, we offer the Enrichment Programme that teaches the children to promote respect, self-discipline, and independence, and to be fully equipped for life-long learning. Some of the programmes that we offer are:
Future Kids
Foundation Stage children learn early entrepreneurism by linking mathematical skills, money and buy and sell strategies which will help them learn the value and importance of money. There will be many different activities offered to children that will help them think critically about their interests and where they are great or where they may need support at.
The Story Lady
Children are invited to take part in playful and interactive Story Telling sessions, where stories come to life using props such as hats, scarf, and everyday household items. Children then take part as characters in the story which helps them develop their empathy as they try to comprehend their actions.
Music
Music is part of the regular weekly curriculum, however, for those children who wish to take this interest further and learn how to play an instrument, we offer weekly music classes from an outside provider.
Zumba
Coordination and fitness can be practiced with kids Zumba . Zumba helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun.
Yoga/Mindfulness
Relaxation and mindfulness go a long way in promoting well–being. When children learn how to regulate breathing and focus, it can have a huge impact on self – regulation and coping with the stresses even young children can experience.
FPM ECC offers an afternoon programme that incorporates a variety of extra-curricular and special Enrichment Activities for full day children and those students that are registered for afternoon care (after 1:00 pm).
Some of our activities are offered at no extra cost to children enrolled for the full day, hosted by our very own teachers. However, we partner with several providers of paid activities such as Ballet, Dance, Football, Gymnastics, Music lessons, and more, for parents who wish to opt for paid activities.
A light, healthy snack is offered to children signed up for the afternoon programme.
